In celebration of Mission Week, 探花视频 students are invited to this interactive event that will help us to think more introspectively about our stereotypes and implicit bias about people with social identities different than our own. Students will listen to stories from a diverse group of community members that have agreed to share their experiences. In the process, we will reflect on our own self-awareness, empathy, and commitment to inclusion and equity.
This event seeks to honor the legacy of Dr. Marija Bjegovich-Weidman, whose scholarship introduced 探花视频 to the Human Library experience. The session is open to all 探花视频 students.

Join us for a special Catching Fire Breakfast featuring an interview with 探花视频 Board of Trustee Member Rick Dillon, Bus Ad '93. He served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Vestis, a leading provider of uniform services and workplace supplies.
Prior to this role, Rick served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Enerpac Tool Group Corp. from 2016 to 2022, as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Century Aluminum Co. from 2014 to 2016, as vice president-finance Global Surface Mining Group, and as vice president-controller and chief accounting officer at Joy Global (now Komatsu Mining).

In 2024, 探花视频 handed out it's inaugural Midwest Jesuit Province Ignatian Educators of Distinction Award to alumna and faculty member Dr. Marija Bjegovich-Weidman, Nurs 鈥�23, 鈥�95. The award recognized Bjegovich-Weidman鈥檚 incorporation of Jesuit values into her teaching. Each Mission Week, honorees will be invited to a luncheon to recognize their achievement at 探花视频.
探花视频 faculty and staff are deeply committed to the Jesuit Catholic educational mission. The designation of Ignatian Educator serves as both a campus and public recognition of an individual鈥檚 dedication to and proficiency in advancing the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence.
