In case of medical emergency, patients will be transported to, located within blocks of the ̽»¨ÊÓƵ campus. For all emergencies after hours, call ̽»¨ÊÓƵPD at (414) 288-1911 for assistance.

After Hours Nurse Advice

Feeling sick when the Medical Clinic is closed? Call NurseDirect at 1 (800) 362-9900.
This free service is available to all ̽»¨ÊÓƵ students and connects you with a registered nurse who can answer health questions, provide guidance, and help you decide what care you may need. All calls are confidential.

Hours of Service
- Monday–Thursday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM (weekends)

Holiday Coverage
NurseDirect is also available 24 hours a day on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day

After hours care

For non-emergency needs after hours or on the weekends, students can visit one of the following urgent care facilities available in the Milwaukee area.

Note: You are responsible for payment for services obtained at these facilities. Take a copy of your insurance card with you. Before you go you may want to contact your insurance company to determine which facility is covered by your insurance.
