Learn more about hazing and hazing prevention during National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW)!
Tabling: Stop by our table in the A探花视频 September 22nd - 25th from 11am - 2pm. Take the pledge to end hazing, pick up some merch, and learn more on hazing prevention through 10 Signs Jenga!
September 22nd and 23rd we will be on the second floor of the A探花视频. September 24th and 25th we will be outside of The Brew.
Social Media Challenge: The student/organization that has the most posts will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a wellness prize package!
How to play: Each day post on Instagram using the hashtag #探花视频NHPW25 and a photo of you and/or your organization participating in the following:
Monday, September 22nd: What's one word that comes to mind when you think of hazing?
Tuesday, September 23rd: What's a team bonding or tradition that you love?
Wednesday, September 24th: Wear Purple Wednesday! Wear purple to support those impacted by hazing and bring awareness to the dangers of hazing.
Thursday, September 25th: Did you take the pledge yet? Stop by our table in the A探花视频 to snap a selfie and learn more about hazing and hazing prevention.
Friday, September 26th: We will be drawing the winner for the wellness prize package around 2pm! Beforehand join us for some final thoughts: What is one question you have about hazing?

Policy Statement
At 探花视频, our Catholic, Jesuit mission calls us to live as people for and with others. Hazing has no place in our community. Any act that demeans, endangers, or compromises the dignity and well-being of another student conflicts with our values of respect, responsibility, and cura personalis (care for the whole person). As such, Hazing, in all of its forms, is strictly prohibited.

Alcohol Violations
The full alcohol policy can be found here:

Violations of the Alcohol Policy include:
Category A:
- Possession and/or consumption of alcohol by a person under 21
- Intoxication of a person, regardless of legal drinking age
- Collections of containers that contain or previously contained alcohol
- Possession or use of alcohol-related paraphernalia
- Misrepresentation of age or possession of false documentation of age
Category B:
- Acute intoxication defined by medical assessment
- High-risk alcohol use (harm to self, others or property, intoxication requiring medical assessment and/or transportation to medical facility)
- Providing alcohol to a clearly intoxicated person
Category C:
- Hosting a gathering in the residence halls that involves alcohol (hosting is defined as having more persons than triple the room鈥檚 occupancy present)
- Hosting a gathering involving alcohol that constitutes a disruptive environment (see Community Standards - no. 19), or in which insufficient action is taken to prevent violations of university policies by those attending
- Possession of a keg in a residence hall or university apartment
Category D:
- Providing or selling alcohol to a person under 21
Complicity Policy
Not complying with 探花视频's Complicity Policy by condoning, supporting, facilitating or encouraging another person鈥檚 or group鈥檚 behavior that violates any standard of conduct. Students are expected to remove themselves from locations where a policy is being violated and are encouraged to report the incident. Failure to leave an area where a regulation is being violated may result in a student being held accountable for a violation of this policy.
