Help students know they are welcome at the Ott.

Although many students know the Ott exits, they don't know exact what we do at the Ott.  To help them develop a richer understand of how the Ott can support writing in your class, you can invite a peer tutor to spend 10-15 minutes talking with your undergrad and graduate classes.  

They'll cover what the Ott Writing Center has to offer, where to find us, how to sign up for appointments, and (if there's time) they'll ask for a volunteer to help model what students can expect in the first five minutes of an appointment.  

. We request at least 3 weekdays of advanced notice; we accept requests on a shorter time frame, but may not be able to get things scheduled quite that quickly.
